Maria Daughters

Maria Daughters, CPA, CFE, CFP®Senior Accounting and Audit Manager

Maria Daughters is a 2004 graduate from Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, earning an undergraduate degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Information Systems. Maria is the audit manager for SKMB and has extensive knowledge in audits, reviews, and compilations, and manages some of the larger bookkeeping clients of SKMB.

Also, Maria has hands-on experience with tax return preparation, including corporation, partnership, and individual, trusts, and estates income tax returns; payroll tax returns, personal property tax returns, internal auditing, and accounting systems, including QuickBooks. Maria is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. In 2014 Maria earned her Certified Fraud Examiner Certification and in 2016 earned her Certified Financial Planner™ Certification.

Maria is a native of Montgomery County. Maria enjoys spending time with her kids and her puppy Max.  As well Maria enjoys traveling and watching sports.
